The New York Pizza Festival: The triangle created by Crescent Avenue, Arthur Avenue, and East 187th Street is the Bronx’s answer to Little Italy, where you can find some of the freshest mozzarella, the thinnest-cut prosciutto, and the most authentic pasticcerie in town. One more reason to head up there from October 6 and 7: Pop-up pizza tents from some of the best pizzerias from Chicago to Naples and everywhere in between, including including New York’s beloved Di Fara and the famed Neapolitan spot Rossopomodoro.
